My first date would be to chat under peaceful skies with a cool drink-then dine out.Later we would check out shops or sights in the area.Fireworks at night would be good.

A walk or picnic outside, just talking (unless it's really hot out!)...meet for a drink and some conversation and laughs...and go from there.

Somewhere we can talk, walk in a museum, or a sporting event. a Nice little restaurant is cool too.

I'm a guy so natchurally my first date would be walking in the surf, or a stage show, or a cool picknic in the mountains. Hey wait a minute; those are all correct. Now let's define first date. Is a first meeting at a local Starbucks a first date? Then I have to change my "first date idea". I guess I would have to ask you what you would like. Hmmm, not very manly, I guess I would have to demand we go to a drag race. Hmmm again, I used to do that. I even built dragsters. I haven't been to a dragrace in forty years and don't want to start again. It get's curiouser and curiouser. I'll just say that hand holding will be involved. Kissing? That will be your choice. O. K. just see the first three choices at the beginning of this "First Date Idea". I could sign up for any of those.

Nervous anticipation, a tiny frisson of date panic, a little lipstick and those high heels, a civilised bar, chilled chardonnay, an hour of quiet, intimate conversation and then a decision... kiss and wish or walk away... After that we can by tickets to the moon if they're on sale.
